  Here’s an example of such work: Dada Studios in Brussels needed a very specific audio interface to dispatch multiple talkback signals to their three recording rooms. The talkback signal had to be ducked by the SMPTE timecode sent when tracks were recording. Everything they had tried before resulted in SMPTE crosstalk leaking into the talkback signal. So, we had to meet strict crosstalk specifications, with precise frequency and gain characteristics for the preamps. And that’s how we built... The Message :

   - 4x talkback mic preamps : 100Hz highpass / 16KHz lowpass / +25 > +70dB of gain

   - Ducking input, balanced, improved crosstalk rejection for using SMPTE as ducking signal.
   - Ducking gain and threshold adjustable inside the device with trimpots.
   - Reverse ducking option for each preamp inside the device with jumpers.
   - Ducking on/off option for each preamp on the front plate.
   - Ducking led indicator on the front plate

   - 48V phantom power

   - 3x outputs, balanced
   - preamp 1 goes to output 1
   - Preamps 2, 3, and 4 can be routed to outputs 2 and/or 3, or left unassigned
